Wisma Mulia is a not-for-profit home of excellence established in the 1970s Situated in Frampton-on-Severn, just minutes from the M5 motorway. It is a unique and welcoming community which offers both independent living and a more structured system of residential care. Set in the heart of this beautiful Cotswold Village, Wisma Mulia is just a short walk from the nearby canal, river, village green, shop, post office and pub. It is an oasis of calm in an enchanted setting.

The wide range of accommodation offered by Wisma Mulia allows us to welcome people who require round the clock support as well as those enjoying a more independent lifestyle.

Our tailored packages of care and support mean that whatever the needs of the individual, we can fulfil our philosophy that life is here to be lived.

Wisma Mulia is as far removed from the stereotypical residential care home as you could imagine. Set in extensive grounds, the main house, with its feel of a country house sets the scene for the rest of the community.

The residents enjoy the use of the dining room, garden room, meeting hall, sitting room, home cinema and hair dressing salon.

The beautiful, landscaped gardens add to the wonderful ambience of Wisma Mulia and are the scene of many social events throughout the year.

All our meals are freshly cooked on the premises and we use locally sourced ingredients. Our menus are of very high quality and we ensure that all our residents feel welcome to join us in the dining room or to dine in their rooms. We cater for all dietary needs and requirements.

ACTIVITIES

We provide a wide range of activities, including exercise classes, painting classes, film screenings, gardening club, knitting group, cooking clubs and many more, all of which are extremely popular. In the Summer months we go on canal boat rides and regularly provide excursions to local places of interest. The gardening club members can often be seen purchasing plants at the local garden centre. Even something as simple as a drive in the stunning local countryside can be enjoyable.

We currently work in partnership with a local childrens' nursery and have hosted their Nativity play. The residents have spent time both at the nursery and at Wisma Mulia helping the children with their creative work. This has been a huge success for all involved. We hold a Summer and Christmas Fair for the residents and wider community. The local choir also attend regularly to perform.

All of these community based activities and events ensure that residents feel not only part of Wisma Mulia but also the surrounding community.

RESPITE AND RECOVERY CARE

There comes a point in everyone’s life when they may no longer be able to take care of themselves. Wisma Mulia provides the support that retirees and their families require, including respite care for a variety of length of time and for a variety of reasons. Guests stay with us while loved ones and carers are away or after a hospital stay to be able to rest and get their strength back.
